I apologize for being slow to post after our vacation in Spain. I plan to post about our fun trip within a couple of days. We have been catching up with work this week, and have also been busy celebrating Landon's birthday! He is now 6, and his celebrations were a success. They included a pre-celebration in Spain with my parents, a special day at school with his classmates singing the German "zum Geburtstag", and then a birthday party in France, where we learned how to say it in French:
"bon anniversaire". Quite international!
Being 6 for Landon means that he is now old enough to require a tram or train ticket. So, today we took him to the Bahnhof (train station) to get his official "Junior Card". It is valid for one year on trams and trains in our area, and he is very excited about this privilege! He even got a wallet from his grandparents for his birthday to start carrying his tickets with him. Now he's wondering how to also earn some money to put in it... Happy birthday, Landon!
